A warm welcome to The White Lion Royal Hotel from Amy & Matthew. We are located on the high street in the middle of beautiful Bala.

The White Lion Royal Hotel is a historic coaching inn with a bar, restaurant and 25 beautiful bedrooms.  Residents and non-residents are all welcome to dine or drink all day – choosing from our alfresco sunny garden, our lovely traditional bar or our restaurant.

The White Lion Royal Hotel is a beautiful listed building, a great base to enjoy the abundance of activities located nearby.  These include: water sports on Bala Lake, hiking, dog walking, golf, zip lining, mountain and road biking.  If you are looking for something more relaxed, a favourite is browsing the local shops.  In Bala you are really spoilt for choice.

We have a car park to the rear of the hotel – spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis – with additional parking available on the high street or close by free on-street parking.

Our bar and restaurant areas offer comfortable and cosy places to enjoy a drink or a meal! The bar includes some of the best real ales, spirits and soft drinks available.

Our hotel is doggy friendly with dog beds, water bowls and treats available for all our furry friends. We look forward to seeing you soon…
